Was
born to a musical family and raised in New York City. She began playing
the violin at the age of 5, piano at the age of 10, and viola at the
age of 16. Throughout her youth, she attended Manhattan School of
Music Pre-College division, and also made several television appearances,
most notably on Sesame Street, as well as an MTV music video. Christine
received both her Bachelors and Masters degrees from the Juilliard
School where she studied with Heidi Castleman, Misha Amory, and Hsin-Yun
Huang. She has participated in numerous music festivals, including
Tanglewood, Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival, New York String Seminar
at Carnegie Hall Taos Chamber Music School, the Perlman Summer Music
Festival, the Quartet Program at Bucknell, and has performed in masterclasses
with Samuel Rhodes, Mitchell Stern, Thomas Reibl, Robert Vernon, Maria
Lambros, Roberto Diaz, and Martha Katz. Most recently, Christine was
a member of the New World Symphony before joining the California Quartet
in San Diego. |
